London 2012 Synchro

It was an intense time here at TDTV headquarters yesterday as Tom and synchro partner Pete Waterfield stepped out amongst tumultuous applause at the Aquatics centre, to take on the 10m Platform synchro final.

The competition was incredible, with all of the diving pairs performing to the highest standard, just as you’d hope to see in the Olympic competition. Despite a really strong start with their first three dives Tom and Pete came away from the competition in 4th place, but only a few points behind the bronze and silver medal positions.

One of the official photographers in the Aquatics centre, Rogan Thomson, has sent us some great shots of Tom, Pete and some of their TeamGB buddies. Take a look at the album here!

Tom’s individual 10m Platform event starts with the prelim round on Friday 10th August and finishes up with the semi-final and final of the competition on Saturday 11th August. So there’s still plenty of time to send your #gotom messages via Twitter and You Tube, to find out how you can get involved see the #gotom news story.
